Lois Tierney is an artist, illustrator and activist based in Liverpool. They graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design and Illustration in July 2015, and have been based at ROAD Studios since June 2015.

They are most known for the 'Gay Is OK' series of prints at The Walker Art Gallery for their 'Coming Out' exhibition from July-November 2017. They were also chosen to paint one of the large fiberglass snowflakes for the Liverpool Snowflake trail 2016, and has also participated in a number of exhibitions around Liverpool. These exhibitions include two joint shows with artist Elizabeth Brownsword, the first being ‘The Female Gaze’ in January 2017 and ‘The Female Gaze: Timeline’ in May 2017 as part of LightNight 2017. Lois has also exhibited at the Tate Modern in June 2019 as part of Comics Youth's residency.

Lois has been running weekly arts and crafts workshops at the Whitechapel Centre since July 2017.
