GRIN Theatre Company create affordable and exciting theatre in a range of fringe spaces across Liverpool.

They run a yearly event as part of Liverpool Pride called Queertet, which consists of four short plays from LGBT writers, about LGBT issues, as well as producing full length plays and creating a platform for new poets and developing artists.

Honestly the coolest thing about GRIN is that their director seems to really care about nurturing poets, singers, and writers who maybe aren't as far along in their journey, while also finding really strong new writing.

They also run a profit share among the actors and performers, although I don't think they pay writers at this moment. That'd be a really cool next step for them I reckon.
