Queer Sport Split (short: QSS) is a non-profit charity organization based in Split, Croatia, with a focus on sport, culture and leisure of LGBTIQ+ community. It is also working in non-formal education and research on discrimination and emancipation in the sport field. In 2018 it was leading internation Erasmus+ research project 'Beyond Binaries' with five other LGBTIQ+ sport and rekreation organizations, in collaboration with institutions, networks and initiativesactive in the field of research and sport organizing. 'The project aims to create understanding for the highly limiting societal effects that the gender segregation unfolds, especially for and by examining the experiences of members of the LGBTQI+ community.'[15]
As of 2019 it is part of Rainbow Youth for Sporting Equity - a research and education project led by LEAP Sports Scotland and European University Sport Assotiation[16] and CEE You SPORT led by EGLSF.[17]
