The Action Youth

Transgender youth group in Liverpool

For young people aged between 12-18 who identify as transgender or non-binary
The Action Youth is a weekly drop in group that runs on a Wednesday evening between 4-6pm
It happens in the YPAS at 36 Bolton Street, Liverpool, L3 5LX

When you go inside there's chairs and sofas around the room, next to the little mini kitchen :) This is where everyone sits around and chats, this can be kindof daunting when you first go because everyone looks like they're in big friendship groups which can feel scary because you don't know where to sit the first time you go in...
BUT
There's always so
This group is usually a bit smaller than GYRO because less people go and it's usually a bit more chill and calmer which can be nice sometimes (but there's always still a big game of giant jenga and an intense game of uno going on!)
At The Action Youth people tend to drink lots of tea and eat snacks and just chat, so it's such a calm environment to make friends and things :)

Usually at the start of the session everyone just sits around chatting -after you've signed your name in on the register :)
Then the leaders chat to the whole group and everyone goes around the 'circle' and says their name and pronouns and answers 'the question of the day' (usually something like "do you like cats or dogs better") -but if you don't want to answer then you don't have to :)
